Part of my day consists of eating at whatever little diners I pass. The people are friendly and sometimes curious. I love to listen to the local conversations. The ladies at the A&W were very supportive of each other. It seemed like a little class reunion. One of them said, ''When people realize there's more to life than big houses and money, they move to Montana.''
The towns here are 70 to 100 miles apart. Apparently many of us haven't learned yet.

Since our x-country trip, I've always said Montana was my favorite state...and would have moved there right out of college if I thought a Finance degree would help me get a job as a park ranger or a rancher. Then again, I had the luxury of being in a car...furthermore, I imaigine I slept through most of the state.
