The largest and biggest light is not a pyrotechnic display, but probably the result of one. Outside talking to a biker (the motorcycle kind) from San Diego and a retired couple living out of their 5th-wheel, we noticed this light both flickering and growing. And shortly after, sirens and lights. The emergency vehicles responded and extinguished the fire very quickly. It's very, very dry here (no campfires!) and I was worried it might get out of control. It would be hell to evacuate by bicycle.
