Stuff: Handy

There's a great deep pocket at the very back of my left rear pannier where I keep things I want to get to quickly, or don't know where else to put it.
Plastic bag with maps and pens and Bluebeard by Vonnegut; this I always bring into restaurants, but although I love Vonnegut I have not been reading much.
Two small bottles, one empty and one filled with sand, rocks and water of the Pacific.
Batteries, super glue, tire pressure gage, emergency cell phone and iPod charger, headlight, Topeak Alien bike tool (awesome), sunscreen, and Charmin Freshmates wipes. When towns are 70 miles apart, so are bathrooms.
