A statue of some guy taking a picture of the lake marks the end of the trail. At this point I needed to jump on I-90 to continue east, but...
There is no on-ramp to 90. It's right there, but no access. So I had to improvise. I was able to squeeze around some barriers and work my way under and then up onto the highway, but going the wrong way. In hindsight, it's a good thing I had to work my way through a half mile of construction (including walking through some thin wet cement), because it kept the oncoming traffic well away from me. And with no crew around, there was no one to explain to that sometimes I just gotta do what I gotta do. I got off the next on-ramp and switched over to the eastbound lane.
