Trip 2.02, Meh

After an 85-mile lead-out day, ending with an uncomfortable night on the tent, I was ready for some better sleep. I cut this day shorter than I wanted, but mentally it was what I needed. I had time to walk down the road from the motel to find some food. All they had was ice cream, donuts, and blueberry pie. I didn't want to leave Maine without having eaten some blueberries...

Like the day before, Maine continued to kick my ass with wind and hills. I'd bet more people get motion sickness here-- not from the sea, but from the undulating roads.

Pretty uneventful day. Cool as well as windy. I'm glad I recently bought a pullover specifically made for wind. Felt much cozier with it on, but I have to be careful not to sweat too much in it.

iSent, somewhere between Maine and Florida.
